Anyone who has ever has the opportunity to visit the Tidal Basin during the cherry blossom season knows that it is absolutely beautiful and breathtaking. This festival commemorates the anniversary of the gift of 3,000 cherry trees from the Mayor of Tokyo, Japan to our country in 1912. The cherry blossom festival sparks the beginning of Spring season.
