Happy Monday!

Since we have launched the "Designer's Challenge" we have received so many wonderful emails. This is one party that I had to share with you all.  Corinn from Corley Designs sent over this gorgeous Earth Day Celebration!  They had 15 adorable 5 and 6 year olds ready to explore nature with us in a whole new way.   Here are the details as told by Corinn:

"With a budget of less than $100 we styled a fun and festive party & dessert display all out of recycled products and natural products. Instead of using a table we decided to use beautiful boxwood bushes to display the treats and create our focal point. We used an amazing boxwood in the shape of the earth as a beautiful backdrop. Decorations included re-used paper pom poms, spring flowers, custom paper party accessories printed on 100% recycled paper and recycled paper pinwheels. Paper straws adorn empty Danimals containers which were filled with a healthy smoothie. Sugar cookies were displayed in an empty strawberry container with shredded paper. Popcorn went inside custom designed recylced paper boxes and homemade cupcakes with custom designed recycled accents and cake pops (ladybugs, flowers and trash cans) were displayed right from the boxwood bushes. Chocolate covered Oreos rested on an old barn door that was turned into cutting boards. Flower pot puddings were displayed in clay pots with wooden spoons, lollipops surrounded by handmade pinwheels that were part of a lesson to teach the children about the power of wind. Lastly custom water bottles clearly stated the importance of recylcing. It was a fun, delicious, educational and eco-friendly day"

Same here...the flowerpot puddings really caught my eye! But actually all the edibles carry through the theme so well!
