Let's just say, I'm going through this right now. I have a long list of things that I want to do and every where I look I see my ideas popping up left and right. Let me be clear, no one is copying my ideas - that's not the issue because I haven't told anyone about them. But recently I see them a lot. I pride myself on being unique so it makes me wonder if I need to start thinking outside of the box again, maybe I have conformed, I don't know. It's just a little frustrating for me because I also work full time so it probably takes me twice as long to produce something as the next designer. So I keep missing the 8 ball so to speak.
So anyone else feel like that occasionally? What do you do? Keep to your idea or scrap it and come up with another one?

that has definately happened to me before and it stinks! take your idea and change it some!
There is always going to be something about your design that is very unique. You see the similarities because Great minds think alike. I have seen your work and you are very creative. Stick with your design.
I say you go for it. Not everyone can look at every different blog (as much as we all want to). Don't worry about people thinking of you as a copy cat and look at it as a chance to inspire people. Can't wait to see what you have cookin'

Ebony, I say keep moving forward with your idea!! Your results will be your own, with your special touches, style and include a part of your heart that only you can! The guests will be unique to your event and walk away feeling great because of the party they attended. The average person has no idea what goes on on different blogs, etc.:) You know I know how this feels and I still wonder, if imitation really is the best form of flattery?!
Go for it with your ideas! There are SO MANY blogs out there that is nearly impossible for all of us to see all those ideas. You'll be fine :) This has happened to me as well. I just found your blog for the 1st time tonight..I love it!
