{Real Party} Black & White Damask with Fuchsia and Blue Bridal Shower

Today I'm very excited to present pictures of the black and white damask bridal shower that I planned and styled a few weeks ago.  Last week I received my professional pictures from a fabulous new photographer, Chiantia Crews from Chiantia Photography.

This shower was truly a labor of love for many reasons.  The first reason is because it was for my baby sister! The second reason is that this was my first full production event since launching Sparkling Events & Designs, LLC in January.  So I put my heart and soul into it..... and I believe that it shows.  So for today, we will start will a little decor.  There are so many lovely details to this shower that I need to break it up.

I choose a location that was absolutely stunning to begin with great neutral background and beautiful finishings. For the decorations I choose black table linens with a black & white damask table runner and my partner (AKA mom) made this beautiful ruffled placemats out of fuchsia ribbon that completely popped against the black and white!

Of course a little sparkle....

We were inspired by the Gossip Girl shower from the HWTM and my mom made these ruffled placemats. She is awesome!

From Inspiration to Reality: Modern Vintage Wedding

This is by far one of the best "From Inspiration to Reality" wedding inspiration boards that I have seen over at Style Me Pretty!  Everything about this photo shoot screams glam!    It all started with this inspiration board submitted by Annie Packman.  

The colors and decor are just fantastic!  You must run right over to Style Me Pretty for all of the gorgeous details.   All of the vendors that took time to put this glamorous photo shoot together are listed.  This photo shot has so many glamrous shots that it is broken into 1, 2, 3, 4, posts! This photo shoot also features the beautiful wedding gown from Sex and The City: The Movie by Vera Wang.  


The color combination, black, white and fuchsia are so fabulous!

Urban Loft Wedding in Gray, Pink and Fuchsia

Today's eye candy comes from the designs of Gloria Wong (whom I love) via the Design Sponge Blog.   When I came across these photos, I thought that they were just beautiful. The colors pink, fuchsia and gray (a favorite combination of mine) plus the urban loft feel - makes this a quite beautiful design for the contemporary and modern couple.  This design would also work well for a bridal or baby shower!
